    DA4, DE5 - Story

What was the context or business challenge?
(e.g. Before the programme, I regularly handled data requests using Excel VBA and complex formulas, which often took up to four hours per request. This manual process slowed down reporting and impacted overall efficiency).
What did you do and why? What knowledge, skills or behaviours from the programme did you use?
(e.g.Learning Python through this programme has transformed my day-to-day workflow, dramatically improving efficiency in handling data requests. I replaced slow VBA macros and manual processing with scripts that handle the same tasks in a fraction of the time. This transformation streamlined my workflow and allowed me to focus on higher-value work).
What was the outcome? Try to include specific results or measurable impact.
(e.g. As a result, I reduced the time needed to fulfil data requests from four hours to just 10–15 minutes. This shift has significantly increased my productivity and improved the speed of reporting. My line manager has recognised both the substantial time savings and the growth in my technical expertise).

    DP3, DDL - Story

What was the context or business challenge?
(e.g. Before starting the Imperial College and Corndel Data-Driven Professional Programme, I was spending 15 to 20 hours producing a single campaign report. I knew this manual process was holding us back. It was time-consuming, difficult to scale, and made it hard for our teams to access timely insights.
What did you do and why? What knowledge, skills or behaviours from the programme did you use?
(e.g. During the programme, I used what I learned to build our team’s first official Power BI dashboard for a recent campaign. I also created a Power App to help collect and manage campaign data more efficiently. These tools replaced our manual processes with automated, user-friendly solutions. I applied skills in data visualisation, stakeholder engagement, and user-centred design - all areas I developed through the programme.
What was the outcome? Try to include specific results or measurable impact.
(e.g. As a result, I reduced reporting time from up to 20 hours to just 30 minutes. Our Community and Events Manager found the dashboard intuitive and insightful, and my line manager was impressed by how directly I applied my learning. The tools I developed are now being used as templates for future projects, helping my team work more efficiently and use data more effectively across the organisation).

    LM3, LM5, ED7 - Story

What was the context or business challenge?
(e.g. At the start of the programme, I was leading a team responsible for managing our supply chain operations, which had become increasingly complex and costly).
What did you do and why? What knowledge, skills or behaviours from the programme did you use?
(e.g. Through the programme, I developed the confidence to delegate more effectively and empower my team to take ownership of key areas. I simplified our operations, set clear supplier standards, and fostered a culture of accountability. This shift encouraged the team to proactively identify and pursue supply chain efficiencies).
What was the outcome? Try to include specific results or measurable impact.
(e.g. As a result, my team created their own pipeline of improvement initiatives, which delivered £50,000 in year-end savings and significantly reduced overall supply chain costs).
